OUR SERVICES
A Simple Headshot session consists of a single look, 30 minute, headshot session at my home studio, including hair and makeup, against a black, white or gray background. Following the session, low resolution 'pre-edited' images will be provided, via DropBox, for the selection of 5 full resolution images to be edited for delivery, also via DropBox. This session costs $200. If you do your own hair and makeup, the cost will be $100.
A 'NotJustHeadshots' session begins with makeup, followed by a seated 'beauty shot' and full and 3/4 length standing poses, with backdrop colors depending on the outfits and desired use of the images. This is the most popular session for models and actors. This session lasts 1.5 hours or longer, not including the makeup time (generally 1 hour). With this session, you can choose up to 10 images for final editing and delivery. This session costs $300. If hairstyling is also required, the session will cost $350.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
A 'Model Shoot' session is similar to modeling agencies' initial 'casting' or 'test shoots'. Models wear minimal makeup and simple clothing. The session includes a headshot, 3/4 and full-length poses. You can use these as initial images to present to agencies. The session lasts about an hour and you will receive 5 edited images. This session costs $250.
Location Shoot sessions begin at my studio for makeup (and hair styling, for the additional fee), and take place at urban or forested venues within 25 miles of my studio. These sessions take longer due to driving and on-location time. The session costs $400.
Additional services are also available
- Additional edited images: $25 each.
- 'Pose Coaching' for the NotJustHeadshots session. An age-appropriate professional model assists during the shoot to instruct and assist new models with posing and other valuable tips. The fee for this assistance is $50/hr., minimum 2 hrs.
New Model?
Have you, your son or daughter been told that they should or could 'be a model', or just have wondered yourself. How about you? The first place to start is in front of a photographer who is experienced working with new models. This includes, but is not limited to, helping you find your best side in photos, learning about runways, posing and portrait lighting for models. I'm not an 'agency photographer' but I do refer new models to agencies where they have been signed.
All fees are payable at the start of the session. 8.25% Texas sales tax is added to all prices listed above, except the Pose Coach fee, which is paid directly to the model. Prices may go up at any time.
Occasionally, I will do TFP (Time for Print aka Time for Portfolio) work for models and makeup artists to update my portfolio - just ask.
